I still cannot become interested in Twitter. It is an interesting idea, I just do not think it is something I would ever use because it is another thing for me to check. I'm not big on letting the world know about what I'm doing, although i do update my status on facebook from time to time. In the classroom, I think Twitter can be used to keep parents updated on what students need to bring to class and when assignments are due. Students can also follow their teacher to find out what the homework is for the day.
There are some great professional ways to use twitter but you didn't follow me so you didn't experience it. I learn new professional things every week from twitter.
